Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Gneurone Inc. operates Inskill Academy and is the controller of your personal data. This policy complies with Québec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA and, for EU/UK residents, the GDPR.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email address, name, password (stored as a salted hash) or the identifier returned by Google/Facebook if you use social login.

Learning data: courses started, tasks completed, XP, streaks, chat messages with the AI mentor, quiz answers.

Payment data: plan, amount, dates and the transaction identifier returned by Stripe or PayPal. Card numbers are handled only by those providers.

Technical data: an anonymous deviceId, IP address, browser type, and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok).

3. Why we use it

To provide the service and personalize your learning path; to process payments and prevent fraud; to send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts); to send marketing emails if you opted in; and, with consent, to measure and improve our advertising.

4. Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Resend (email), Groq (AI mentor — messages are not used to train models), Google/Meta/TikTok (analytics and ads, consent-based). We never sell your data.

5. Retention

Account and learning data are kept while your account is active and for 3 years after your last activity. Billing records are kept for 7 years as required by tax law. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent and object to marketing at any time from Settings or by writing to contact@gneuroneai.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or your local authority.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Sessions use signed, HttpOnly cookies. Access to production systems is restricted and logged.
